APDA's mission to "Ease the Burden" is accomplished through its nationwide network of more than 50 Information & Referral (I&R) Centers, more than 50 Chapters and hundreds of support groups. The organization also operates other dedicated Centers including the APDA Rehab Resource Center at Boston University and a Veteran's Center.  APDA also supports efforts to "Find the Cure," by funding researchers whose work shows promise for making scientific breakthroughs or for finding improved treatments for Parkinson's Disease.
