A support group can be very valuable to young people with Parkinson's disease, their families, and their friends. It provides an atmosphere where everyone can be himself/herself without feeling self-conscious. A support group can provide a place where problems and concerns are discussed, information is shared and understanding and support is offered. |
Currently, we have listed the cities, states, or countries where support groups are located. We have not listed the names and addresses of the support group leaders in order to ensure their privacy on the web. If you would like a referral to a support group, please contact us with your request.
Our support group list is continually growing, so it is difficult to keep this list current. If you do not see a support group listed that is near you, please call our information and referral center for an update on locations of groups. If you are interested in starting a support group, please let us know. We have many materials available to offer to anyone interested in beginning a group. If your support group is not listed here, please let us know about you.
