This federal resource will link you with a health center near you where you can see a doctor or specialist without insurance. These federally-funded health centers will allow you to pay what you can afford, based on your income. The health centers can be found in most cities and in some rural areas.

The United Way provides free and confidential information and referrals to assist with food, housing, employment, health care, counseling, and many other needs. Web site visitors can search for organizations by city, state, or ZIP Code, and refine their results by using keyword searches to find services that may be available in their areas.

The website has information about the pharmaceutical patient assistance programs (PAPs), programs that help people based on diagnosis, free/low-cost clinics and much more. All of the data is free, easy to access, and updated regularly. NeedyMeds also runs a free drug discount card that can save users up to 80% off the cost of their prescriptions

A national non-for-profit organization whose sole mission is focused on free clinics and the populations they serve. This Web site contains a state-by-state listing of free clinics and contact information for each clinic.

This Web site allows visitors to locate teaching hospitals by state lookup. In some instances, these institutions offer community outpatient clinics in neurology and/or movement disorders staffed by residents. You may be able to obtain services through this type of clinic for little or no out-of-pocket cost.
