MY PHOTOGRAPHY

In discussing photography there is an important philosophical question that needs to be answered: is there such a thing as an objective perception of reality, that as viewed by different people would be the same, or is it the perception of the world subjective and different for each person?

There is an ancient story of two blind men trying to describe an elephant by touching it.  One thought the elephant was like a snake as he felt the trunk; the other said that it was like a tree as he felt a leg.  Both were correct in their descriptions, but both were completely different from the others, because each perceived reality in a unique and individual way.  As we look at a tree or flower, based on memories and experiences of other trees or flowers we have seen in the past, we form a perception of it that is individual and unique to each person

In my photographs I try to express reality as I see it around me. I try to share with the viewer the world from my point of view.
